Catch A Ride

I want to catch a ride on your back

Carry me off

To places far away

I want to hold on

For dear life

While you run

At speeds I can’t comprehend

I want you to take flight

With me as your

Sole passenger

Guide me up through the clouds,

Over the ocean,

And far away

Leaving behind

Everyone else

Let them figure it out,

Fit the pieces of the puzzle together

As we speed away

With all untamed thoughts

Of all we might find

In the great unknown
